Summer Evening Proposal at Adriatica Village in Mckinney, TX
When Nick approached me about photographing a surprise marriage proposal to his then girlfriend, Jeanette, I just HAD to carve out an evening to be there for it! Nick and I went back and forth about locations until Adriatica Village popped up as an idea. I suggested a specific spot to Nick underneath some low-hanging tree branches with the chapel in the background and he replied with "YES I was going to suggest the exact same spot!". From the start we were on the same wavelength, and everything went according to plan.
Jeanette had purchased this special dress to get engaged in, and when Nick suggested that she wear it for their "date" that evening she started to get suspicious. Her mind was racing the entire car ride to Adriatica Village! It didn't take long to park and begin their evening stroll around the chapel, where Jeanette was quickly met with Nick dropping on one knee. It was the sweetest, most special moment and looking through their gallery just brings a smile to my face!
